Enverus is seeking a senior Subsurface Innovation professional to lead CCUS and geothermal research efforts from Calgary. You will build robust economic models, review project economics for clients, and mentor junior staff while shaping what the team researches.

The role blends technical rigor with clear client communication, leveraging AI to elevate outputs. You’ll join the Subsurface Innovation team in a hybrid Calgary setting, collaborating with product, research, and client teams to advance

Qualifikationen

• 5–8 years of relevant industry or research experience in subsurface technologies.
• Undergraduate degree in geoscience, engineering, finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, environmental science, or public policy.
• Some experience mentoring or leading others.
• Demonstrated ability to build and defend economic models under scrutiny.
• Comfort leading client and prospect calls and relationship-building.
• Advanced Excel skills; comfort with data tools (Python, SQL, Power BI, or Spotfire) and AI tools is a strong plus.

Aufgaben

• Build out or review economic models for CCUS projects and stress test assumptions.
• Lead client calls providing senior, straight-talk read on project economics.
• Mentor associates and analysts and develop their independent, senior work.
• Contribute to setting research priorities with the Team Lead.
• Advocate for datasets the product team needs and communicate feasibility for the next release.
