Job summary
Cameco is seeking a Structural Technologist (Intermediate & Senior) to provide structural design and CAD work for concrete, steel and architectural projects. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings, prepare BOM/MTO, and ensure compliance with company processes and regulatory standards.
The role requires experience with Advanced Steel, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Jetstream and AutoCAD, plus mining project exposure. Occasional site travel by aircraft and a Monday–Friday schedule in Saskatoon.
Qualifications
- Experience with structural design work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide structural design and CAD work for concrete, steel and architectural projects.
- 3D Modeling as required.
- Ensure design work complies with processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and materials takeoff (MTO).
- Adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Meet project needs in a timely manner.
- Plan, draft, model, check and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical team, clients and contractors.
