Job summary

Hatch Ltd. is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group, delivering engineering services to mining projects including underground areas.

You will participate in concrete foundations, structural steel design, layout development, and perform structural analysis for front-end planning and detailed engineering phases for multi-discipline projects. You will prepare calculations, supervise designers and junior engineers, and develop specifications and reports under the direction

Qualifications

• A recognized degree in civil/structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Registration as a professional engineer or active pursuit towards professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering project requirements related to scope, cost and schedule.
• Ensure safety and integrity principles in structural documentation.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications and data sheets.
• Review technical work and contribute to design reviews.
• Stamp documents where registered and manage small capital projects.

Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering
