Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a prominent engineering consultancy in Kimberley. You will lead the design and oversight of infrastructure structures, mentor staff, and drive high-quality project delivery.

You will work on bridges, dams and industrial facilities, applying advanced analysis tools and SA standards to ensure safety and durability on regional projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA registration.
• At least 8 years of structural engineering experience in infrastructure.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS and Revit Structure.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, steel and composite structures.
• Experience with South African infrastructure standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
• Familiarity with Kimberley / Northern Cape projects is a plus.
