Job summary

Adams Limitless is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for moveable structures worldwide. The role focuses on aluminum and steel systems, with collaboration across Sales, Design, and PM to drive concept-to-completion for global projects.

With 1000+ projects, the team values innovation and engineering excellence, mentoring junior engineers, and solving on-site challenges while ensuring code compliance (IBC/IBC Canada). Travel to the US is required.

Qualifications

8+ years in structural design with aluminum, steel, and reinforced concrete.
Master creative problem solver who persists until a solution is found.
Advanced knowledge of SAP and S-Frame software.
Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex ideas to any audience.
Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers; owning results.
Strong understanding of International Building Codes & OBC.
Willingness to travel to the US (10%).

Responsibilities

Lead structural design and analysis for innovative moveable systems using aluminum and steel.
Collaborate with Sales, Design, and Project Management to shape complex builds from concept to completion.
Mentor junior engineers and help grow the team capabilities.
Problem-solve on-site issues with design modifications.
Prepare and oversee technical specs, structural calculations, and engineering packages for permitting, fabrication, and install.
Ensure all designs meet building codes (Canadian, US, IBC) and exceed performance expectations.
