Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Toronto seeks a Senior Structural Designer to develop 3D structural models and extract 2D drawings for concrete and steel structures.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure quality, and drive drawings through to completion while mentoring junior designers. The role requires extensive experience and strong English communication skills, with hybrid in-office work three days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of structural design experience.
• Experience creating 3D models of concrete and steel structures.
• Strong communication in English and ability to mentor juniors.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD 3D and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D structural models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare 2D packages from 3D models and develop GA drawings.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on built-environment projects.
• Mentor junior designers and manage drawing timelines.
