Employer Operations Business Enablement

Location: Remote, Canada

Our team and what we’ll accomplish together:

The TELUS Health Employer Operations Business Enablement team collaborates with stakeholders across the business to maximize expertise and capabilities, working cross-functionally to achieve or surpass our targets.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Director, Business Enablement, you will be a key contributor to strategy, planning, and a member of the Reporting and Analytics team. Your role involves leading strategic initiatives, including vision setting, strategic direction, and managing prioritized projects, plans, and analysis.

How you will make an impact
  • Develop scenario-based analysis and make recommendations to the Senior Leadership team;
  • Lead, develop, and monitor strategic initiatives;
  • Facilitate prioritization processes, business initiatives, and resource allocation;
  • Implement governance structures aligned with core priorities;
  • Direct the development and identification of scorecards, metrics, and capacity models;
  • Establish change management models to facilitate organizational changes, including communication planning and gates;
  • Coordinate, plan, and facilitate meetings at senior leadership levels (VP and higher);
  • Own and deliver results on special projects identified by leadership;
  • Establish executive-level reporting of core performance metrics and outcomes.
What you bring:
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline;
  • 5+ years in strategy, planning, or analytical roles;
  • Unique blend of advanced strategy, planning, program management, and leadership skills;
  • Advanced strategic analysis, thinking, and synthesis skills with the ability to execute strategically;
  • Ability to undertake complex analyses to develop high-level business strategies and tactics;
  • Strong business acumen and experience communicating at an executive level;
  • Proven success leading direct and matrix teams through change;
  • Highly collaborative in team environments;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and thought leadership;
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and simplify complex concepts;
  • Agile learner capable of operating at the intersection of big ideas and details, thinking and doing, boldness and humility, leading and following.
Great-to-haves
  • Canadian healthcare experience (asset);
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French (asset).
