Job summary

Torngat Metals is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor to join our Montreal team, reporting to the Director of Communications. You will lead development and execution of communications plans supporting stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and corporate objectives.

You will craft tailored messages, create materials across channels, advise internal teams, and help maintain brand voice and identity as the project progresses toward operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, PR, journalism, marketing or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in communications, PR, or stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English, with external stakeholders.
• Experience developing key messages, briefing materials, presentations, communication strategies, and tailored materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated communication strategies, plans, projects, and campaigns that support stakeholder engagement and corporate objectives.
• Create and deliver high-quality communication materials, including web content, newsletters, presentations, fact sheets, key messages, briefing notes, speaking points, FAQs, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop tailored communication materials and strategic messaging for diverse audiences and stakeholder groups.
• Provide strategic communications advice and recommendations to internal teams, ensuring messaging consistency across the organization.
• Collaborate to develop digital content, manage social media, contribute to website content, and monitor media trends to inform efforts.
• Support reputation management and identify opportunities or issues affecting the organization’s reputation.
• Ensure Torngat Metals’ brand standards are consistently applied across materials.
• Contribute to development of communication tools, processes, and best practices, and measure effectiveness.
