About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MarTech Engineer to join our cross-functional team, focusing on enhancing Instacart's Paid Marketing channels, including Paid Social, Display, SEM, Online Video, Linear Television, and Streaming Audio. Your work will directly influence the scalability and performance of these channels, helping us reach broader audiences and strengthen our market presence.

About the Team

Embedded within our marketing organization and part of the Cross Channel Integrations team, you'll collaborate closely with engineering and marketing teams to develop innovative solutions that elevate our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and Snowflake.
  • Manage ETL processes integrating data from sources like Google Analytics and Snowflake.
  • Automate data retrieval and report generation.
  • Lead DBT initiatives to optimize data models.
  • Use Airflow for automating workflows.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to translate data into insights.
  • Work with third-party channels to optimize ad conversions.
  • Assist in launching new Paid Listing Ads across channels.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and data marts for analytics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python, Snowflake, SQL, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, DBT, and Airflow.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital marketing and marketing KPIs.
  • Knowledge of marketing event channels and third-party analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing Google Tag Manager and working in Data Engineering roles.
  • Availability for on-call rotations.

We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and flexible remote work options in select Canadian provinces. The base salary range is CAD 142,000–158,000, depending on experience and location.
