Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is seeking a Senior Specialist, Modelling for a 12-month temporary hybrid role across Ottawa and other CMHC offices. You will design and refine statistical and machine learning models to support risk management and decision making, working with internal clients and a highly technical team.
The position requires a postgraduate quantitative degree and at least five years of modelling experience, with proficiency in Python and R, and Azure Databricks.

Join the Modelling Initiative Team, in the Senior Specialist, Modelling position. In this role, you will address complex modelling challenges and contribute to the development and enhancement of data driven models that support informed decision making, working closely with CMHC's internal clients. Your expertise in hands-on model development, interpreting results, applying rigorous quantitative thinking, and building strong client relationships will strengthen decision making and enhance the organization’s risk management framework.
This is a temporary position with a duration of 12 months.
