Facilitates Labour Relations activities within the assigned area and provides specialist advice and guidance to business partner’s plant/divisional management in the interpretation, application, and administration of Collective Agreements, policies, and procedures consistent with corporate directives. Maintains effective relationships between employee unions, associations at the regional level, and management representatives within the terms of the Collective Agreements and the Canada Labour Code. Handles grievance resolution, focusing on arbitration processes. Promotes the development of productive labour/management relationships to enhance operational, administrative, and service efficiency. Advises the Manager of potential disruptive issues or activities in the labour force and recommends solutions.

Education
University degree in Industrial Relations or related field, or equivalent experience including courses in Labour Relations.
Experience
1 to 3 years of relevant experience; experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
Other Candidate Requirements
Knowledge of Labour Relations, HR, Mail Operations, Collection and Delivery, Marketing, and Retail Operations; familiarity with the Canada Labour Code, collective agreements, health and safety programs, WCB processes, and provincial labour regulations.
