Role and Responsibilities

The Sr. Specialist II, Customer Demand Planner, is a fast-paced role within SCM, responsible for managing the CPFR & PSI processes from forecasting to order fulfillment. This position involves close collaboration with customers, sales, operations, logistics, and other partners to establish accurate forecasts and supply objectives. Key tasks include:

1. Creating weekly forecasts using Samsung’s systems such as MFAS and GSCM
2. Sharing account-level forecasts for weekly consensus reviews
3. Leading weekly CPFR meetings to review and strategize on supply and demand issues
4. Participating in sales and product management meetings to align supply plans
5. Ensuring timely product allocations and managing inventory levels
6. Developing weekly supply vs. demand reports and managing RDD expectations
7. Optimizing product allocations to meet order fulfillment targets
8. Managing DS rolling SOPs and coordinating with factories and logistics
9. Reviewing shipment plans to minimize excess inventory and improve delivery performance
10. Monitoring forecast accuracy and adjusting plans accordingly
11. Participating in process improvements and automation initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; supply chain certifications like CSCMP or APICS are a plus
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and process improvement skills
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in supply chain or inventory management
