Job summary

Motive Canada is seeking a Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead and grow a team of SEs across Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Strategic Accounts. You will partner with AEs to drive technical demonstrations and value-based selling.

You will mentor engineers, guide proof-of-concepts, and ensure scalable delivery while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align the roadmap with customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus.
• Strong understanding of value-based selling frameworks such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or Command of the Message.
• Experience supporting sales cycles that involve software, integrations, cloud platforms, and hardware (IoT or AI/ML experience is a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
• French language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Engineers aligned to Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Strategic AEs.
• Support discovery calls, live demos, trial execution, and solution design.
• Deliver customized demonstrations that address buyer pain points and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with AEs to craft responses to technical evaluations, RFPs, and security reviews.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to ensure clear communication and feedback loops.
