Job summary

Recurrent Energy, a leading solar and energy storage platform, is seeking an O&M Field Technician in Ontario, Canada. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair solar farm equipment, aiming for uptime and production targets.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years field experience in renewable energy, be able to read schematics, and be willing to work after hours. NABCEP certification is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years field experience in Renewable energy is preferred.
• NABCEP certification is a plus.
• Able to read blueprints, diagrams, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot daily project system issues to meet uptime goals.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of solar farm equipment.
• Diagnose electrical machinery and equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with sub‑contractors and other teams to improve performance.
• Ensure CMMS work orders are completed and documentation updated.
• Provide training on maintenance and safety as needed.
• Oversee subcontractors and adhere to health and safety rules.
