Senior Software Factory Performance Manager, North America

NAVBLUE, an Airbus Company, is seeking a Senior Software Performance Manager, North America (SWPM) to join our Software Factory Performance team. The SWPM works within the Performance team in NAVBLUE's Software Factory, which develops core products for flight operations.

The role is crucial for ensuring the Software Factory delivers software on time, with quality, and efficiently in North America. The SWPM focuses on activities across production sites but is dedicated to North America, Waterloo (Canada), with links to Gdansk (Poland), Bengaluru (India), and Toulouse (France).

The role involves coordinating performance within the Software Factory, liaising with the deliveries manager, chapter leaders, and the central Performance team. The SWPM reports to the HO Software Factory Performance.

Responsibilities :

  • Establish performance governance meetings in NA with the SWF Performance and operational excellence teams.
  • Implement KPIs, OKRs, and operational indicators aligned with company and factory objectives, liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve processes, KPIs, and operational performance using lean and agile methodologies.
  • Contribute to evolving SWF Key Performance Indicators.
  • Consolidate performance data at the software factory level.
  • Drive improvement action plans with stakeholders.
  • Lead change management efforts and foster a performance-oriented culture in the region.
  • Monitor and analyze internal and subcontracted activities' performance, supported by the Delivery Manager.
  • Manage operational performance dashboards and reporting, organizing local performance reviews and coordinating with the central team.

Success in this role requires understanding software factory activities and adopting a proactive, collaborative approach to ensure stakeholder buy-in, progress, and performance.

Required Technical Skills / Experience :

  • Knowledge of performance / KPI setting, dashboard creation, and reporting.
  • Experience in transverse project management, especially Agile frameworks like SAFe.
  • Experience with improvement initiatives and methodologies such as Lean and process mapping is a plus.

Required Soft Skills :

  • Driven, proactive, structured, diligent, collaborative, and open-minded.
  • Effective time management, capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance detail orientation with pragmatism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and engage staff across hierarchies.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
