Job summary

CPP Investments seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test and support technology solutions that enable business capabilities across CPP Investments. You’ll partner with business and technology teams to assess requests and continuously improve engineering practices.

Within Alternative Investments Technology, the Real Assets team supports CPP Investments’ global investments in real estate, energy and infrastructure with a focus on long-term growth and sustainable value creation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience with programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Experience with software development practices, including version control, testing methodologies and Agile development.
• Ability to write clean, readable and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards.
• Ability to independently research and develop proficiency in complex technologies.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage colleagues and develop well-reasoned recommendations.
