You will provide technical leadership, drive engineering excellence and collaborate across business, Technology & Data and vendor partners.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
6+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong experience with Python and Java and cloud environments (AWS).

The Role

As Lead Software Engineer, Risk & TFM Technology, you will guide and participate in the end-to-end design, development, testing and support of technology solutions for the SimCorp team. You will provide technical leadership, drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement, and collaborate with business, Technology & Data and vendor partners to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions that respond to evolving business needs.

Accountabilities

Design, develop, test and support end-to-end technology solutions that enable complex business capabilities in an Agile environment.
Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship while driving engineering excellence and continuous improvement across Technology & Data.
Apply strong knowledge of software engineering, cloud technologies and supported business capabilities to guide technical decisions and solution design.
Foster innovation and agility through experimentation, early feedback and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
Analyze complex technical challenges, develop recommendations and collaborate with colleagues to implement effective solutions.
Lead root-cause analysis across teams and support timely resolution of technology issues.
Build strong relationships with business partners, technology teams and vendors while promoting Agile software development practices.

What You Bring

Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field, such as Engineering or Computer Science.
6+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
Extensive programming experience with languages such as Python or Java.
Experience developing, deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Strong knowledge of software development principles, including version control, testing methodologies, Agile practices and writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship while driving engineering best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology partners.
