Job summary

Lime is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Payments and Trust in Canada. You will join a remote, global Payments and Fraud team responsible for the customer payment experience, risk controls, and financial data powering the business.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. You will work on features across backend and full-stack areas, ensure robust data analytics, and explore AI-enabled tooling to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience shipping software that integrates external services.
• Owner's mindset focused on outcomes and problem solving.
• Data-driven approach with instrumentation for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Ship complex projects collaborating with Engineers, PMs, Designers, Data Scientists, and Support/Finance.
• Build features at scale in a payment and fraud domain.
• Monitor system health and analytics to understand customer impact.
• Experiment with modern AI tools to improve engineering effectiveness.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to Lime's engineering culture.
• Help shape payment and fraud capabilities for local markets.
