Broadridge Financial Solutions in Toronto is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Oracle Developer to design, code, test, and maintain Oracle-based applications that process business transactions and support critical workflows.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, perform performance tuning, and participate in Agile delivery. Knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL/SQL and Java exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing Oracle database applications using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience creating and maintaining stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Experience troubleshooting application and database issues, including production support and incident resolution.
• Experience with application and database performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, debugging, documentation, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and existing application logic and develop effective technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and solve complex technical problems.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly and collaborate with business and technology partners.
