Job summary

Lattice is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Infrastructure Platform team in Canada. You will design, build, and operate AWS-based infrastructure, creating internal platform capabilities that enhance how engineers build, deploy, and operate services.

You will collaborate with product engineering, focus on reliability, and drive platform improvements across CI/CD, observability, and deployment tooling. Join a crew shaping scalable, robust systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep AWS experience in production environments.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and system design.
• Experience building internal platforms, developer tooling, or shared services.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform a plus).
• Strong programming skills and ability to debug production systems (TypeScript a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment workflows.
• Experience with observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerting, SLOs).
• Ability to reason across complex systems and understand cross-component interactions.
• Experience leading technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

The Infrastructure Platform team focuses on the cloud services, infrastructure, and internal platforms that power Lattice’s products. We build reliable, scalable pathways that make it easier for product engineers to develop, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot their services.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure Platform team, you will work across a broad technical footprint, including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, distributed systems, observability, deployment tooling, and internal developer platforms.

You will use your prior experience to understand how systems and services interact, identify gaps or sources of friction, and build platform capabilities that improve reliability and developer productivity.

Location Requirement

This role is open to candidates located in British Columbia or Ontario, Canada. At this time, we are only able to hire employees residing in these provinces. ____

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is CAD $123,750 - CAD $165,000. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.
