Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a Product Security Access Management specialist to design and implement robust access controls for users and service accounts. You will work with product, engineering, and security teams to deploy scalable authorization methods including RBAC and ABAC, enhancing security posture across our cloud-native platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant software, product and/or security engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the Cloud.
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, operating systems, etc)
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go or other statically typed languages.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive execution of projects and deploy them to production with a focus on quality and customer impact.
• Collaborate effectively with a high performing team and cross-functional partners and make decisions which benefit the team and company.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and improve operations for complex problems that span all clouds.
