Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a core member of the Product Security Access Management team to design and implement robust access control for users and service accounts across IBM’s cloud-native products. You will contribute to scalable IAM strategies, including RBAC and ABAC policies, working with cross-functional teams to strengthen our security posture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant software, product and/or security engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the Cloud.
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, operating systems, etc).
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go or other statically typed languages.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive implementation of access management primitives for users and service accounts.
• Design and implement robust access control methods including RBAC and ABAC.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to deliver secure access solutions.
• Produce maintainable code that adheres to team standards and security best practices.
• Deliver value for customers by solving complex IAM challenges.
