Job summary

IBM Software is seeking a security-focused engineer to join the Product Security Access Management team. You will design and implement robust access controls, RBAC/ABAC, and scalable IAM policies across users and service accounts, collaborating with product, engineering and security colleagues to strengthen our security posture and deliver a seamless user experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant software, product and/or security engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the Cloud.
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, OS).
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go, or other statically typed languages.

• Independently drive execution of projects and deploy them to production with quality and customer impact.
• Collaborate effectively with a high performing team and cross-functional partners and make decisions which benefit the team and company.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and improve operations for complex problems that span all clouds.
