Job summary

DNV seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable software across a modern full-stack environment. You will work with Python, Django, TypeScript, React, and cloud services (AWS/Azure) to deliver production-grade capabilities.

You will collaborate with product leadership and platform teams to align architecture, APIs, and interoperability while prioritizing reliability and security. Hybrid work from the Toronto area is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting production-grade software.
• Strong fundamentals in full-stack web development and cloud-based delivery.
• Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and translate product direction into production-ready software.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable software across a modern full-stack environment.
• Develop cohesive product experiences across web applications, backend services, APIs, and UI components.
• Collaborate with Product leadership and architecture teams to shape technical direction.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, estimation, and planning for delivery.
• Maintain high quality, testable, and maintainable code with long-term product quality in mind.
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
• Support modernization, refactoring, and migrations to improve performance and security.
