Job summary

3Pillar is seeking an experienced Java/Angular Intermediate Software Engineer in Montreal. You will craft robust applications, apply OO design patterns, and contribute to agile teams through architecture, design, testing, and documentation.

Lead efforts in REST services, testing, and code reviews, while collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to deliver scalable, secure enterprise solutions that redefine industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Software Engineering with solid CS fundamentals.
• 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring/SpringBoot, Hibernate/JPA, and Angular 2+.
• Experience building REST services and enterprise-grade systems.
• Strong unit/integration testing and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust Java/Angular applications with high quality and performance.
• Apply OO design patterns and lead code reviews within agile teams.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, testing, and documentation.
• Write automated unit tests and oversee integration testing (manual & automated).
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, and stakeholders to deliver client value.
