Job summary

3Pillar Global is seeking a senior Software Engineer contractor to collaborate with our global teams, architect transformative solutions, and deliver high-quality client code. You will be accountable for delivering scalable, secure software across engagements in a remote-first environment.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, mentor engineers, and drive delivery from concept to deployment, while aligning with client expectations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in .NET, Azure, and Angular.
• Solid OO design, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices.
• Experience building scalable enterprise systems with performance in mind.
• Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
• Craft client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, and secure.
• Participate in planning and estimation efforts using project methods and tools.
• Gather requirements and present developed features for clients.
• Execute complex activities within defined architecture and standards to showcase success.
• Promote client success by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to address user pain points and iterate on solutions.
• Engage in agile software development including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Mentor others through Communities of Practice and grow technical capabilities.
• Drive project delivery autonomously from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activelyparticipatein the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture,demonstratingautonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertisein the following areas specified below*:

• .NET
• AZURE
• Angular
• Expertisein applying Object-Oriented Programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation).
• Access / OLEDB experience
• Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.
• Practice and initiative mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with OWASP.
• Proficiencyin the English language.

Additional Experience Desired:

• Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs)
• Architectural (Microservices, Serverlessetc) and Design (Factory, Singleton, Observeretc) Patterns
• Unit Testing
• Working in the Cloud
