Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build foundational cloud platform services. You’ll own enterprise capabilities across identity, device management, billing, compliance and administration, while migrating customers to a next-generation platform.

You will design scalable, secure cloud services, optimize Azure environments for performance and cost, and leverage AI-assisted tools like Claude to accelerate development and deployment.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build the foundational cloud platform services powering Cloud. You’ll own critical enterprise capabilities across identity, device management, billing, compliance and administration, while helping migrate customers to our next-generation platform.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build the Device Database, ensuring trusted device identity and validation
• Develop enterprise billing, subscriptions, RBAC, auditing and administration capabilities
• Build compliance workflows covering terms, privacy and consent
• Design scalable, secure and reliable cloud services and data architectures
• Optimise Azure environments for performance, reliability, security and cost
• Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude to accelerate development, debugging and deployment

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years building enterprise-scale cloud applications and platform services
• Deep expertise in .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, REST, gRPC and GraphQL
• Advanced Azure experience across App Service, Entra ID/Azure AD B2C, Azure SQL and Key Vault
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems and design patterns
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud observability
• Proven ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools, ideally Claude, across the software lifecycle
