Job summary

Softline Technology Inc. is seeking a Dynamics 365 specialist to configure and customize Registration and Permit workflows for a governmental backoffice. You will integrate the Dynamics solution with a Java/React portal using MuleSoft and work onsite with the OPS office team.

The role requires strong knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and .NET/C#, with experience in developing and integrating cloud-based solutions in an enterprise context.

Description

The Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) Species at Risk Branch (SARB) is responsible for the administration and issuance of Registrations under the new Species Conservation Act (SCA), 2025.

The objective of this project is to build a modern online Registration system for both external and internal users.

Technology stack : Microsoft Dynamics CRM (backoffice), MuleSoft (middleware) and Java/React (public facing portal)

This position is to configure MS Dynamics 365 for Registration and Permit workflows for Ministry backoffice staff and integrate this backoffice with portal (Java/React) using Mulesoft middleware.

This position is listed as “Onsite”; the resource is expected to work onsite between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location.

Experience Requirements

Technical Skills (40%)

• Experience with Agile methodologies


• Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power platform, and Azure solution design


• Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies


• Working knowledge of both low code development and custom development on Dynamics 365


• Working knowledge with Dataverse design and development

• Experience with custom. Web API development, ASP.NET. .Net Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL, DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines etc.


• Proficiency in all cloud service models: SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS


• Certifications in Dynamics 365 and Azure are preferred


• Experience with Agile methodologies including using kanban/task boards


• Extensive experience developing in Dynamics 365 Customer Service (case management, Knowledge Management, Customer Service Workspace configuration), power platform, power apps (Model-Driven App, Power Pages, Canvas App), Custom PCF controls, development and Server-Side templating language Liquid.


• Experience with both low code development and custom development on Dynamics 365

Communication Skills (20%)

• Strong communication skills to prepare documentation, including but not limited to; reports, reviews, assessments


• Ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a user friendly manner; maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients
