Job summary

Source Code in Toronto seeks a Senior Software Developer - Full Stack for a 9-month contract. The role blends design and development of large-scale, multi-client web apps with hands-on Java, REST APIs, and modern frontend frameworks. Hybrid work: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

You will translate system specifications into tested applications, implement data pipelines, and apply microservice and architecture principles to improve extensibility and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale multi-client web applications.
• 10+ years of hands-on Java development with Oracle or SQL databases.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with RestAPI, React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS.
• Knowledge and experience of microservice architecture and ability to apply core principles to enhance extensibility and maintainability.
• Working experience of RXJS, NextJS, VueJS.
