Job summary

Community Services Cluster, Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, Government of Ontario is seeking two Senior Software Developers – Full Stack to design, build, test, and maintain enterprise Java/J2EE web applications at the Ontario Public Sector. The role emphasizes secure, scalable, accessible, and compliant solutions.

You will develop front-end interfaces, integrate with back-end services and APIs, design RESTful and SOAP web services, and work within an Agile SDLC

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technologies, including JSF, HTML, XML/XSL.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases and SQL scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, integrate, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain enterprise Java web applications.
• Translate technical specifications and business requirements into working applications.
• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE web-based applications using n-tier architecture.
• Develop front-end interfaces and integrate with back-end services and APIs.
• Design, construct, consume, and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines involving ETL activities.
• Develop database solutions and perform SQL scripting using Oracle and SQL Server.
