Job summary

SOTI Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer for our ML team to design, build, and productionize AI features across flagship products such as MobiControl and XSight.

You’ll own end-to-end development, deliver reliable code, collaborate with AI/ML specialists, and ensure performance, scalability, and quality through tests and reviews.

Requirements include strong C#/.NET, REST APIs, distributed systems, data structures, and a CS/STEM degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM field.
• 8+ years of experience in scalable server applications.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, REST APIs.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and networking concepts.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a strong technical thinker with a solid foundation in software development and a deep understanding of how complex systems work under the hood. As a Senior Software Developer on our ML team, you will help design, build, and productionize cutting-edge AI features in collaboration with our AI & ML specialists. You’ll work hands-on to integrate advanced models into our flagship products, such as MobiControl and XSight, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. This role requires strong technical expertise, ownership, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced product team to deliver high-impact solutions that push the boundaries of what our software can do.

What You’ll Do

• Develop innovative solutions to tackle big industry problems
• Write well designed, scalable, reliable, testable and reusable code by using best software development practices, clean code and solid principles
• Provide technical guidance on the research and development of new products and services
• Contribute towards the entire development life cycle of analysis, design, implementation and test
• Detect, report, investigate, and fix product defects
• Automation, including writing unit and integration tests
• Optimize and apply best practices
• Provide leadership on the implementation of software solutions in C# and .NET
• Maintain high standards of quality for code, technical documentation, and deliverables
• Collaborate on projects with an all-star team comprised of varying skill sets through code reviews and design discussions
• Be active in the community by participating in meetups and conferences
• Participate in brainstorming and idea generation activities
• Stay up-to-date with advanced technologies to be able to provide the best solutions for new projects

Experience You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any STEM-related program
• Experienced software developer focused on scalable server applications (8 years of experience)
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOPS and Database concepts
• Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language. Experience with C# and .NET is preferred; however, strong software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, and the ability to apply core concepts across technologies are valued more than expertise in any single language
• Demonstrated ability to design complex software solutions and technical architectures, balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and business requirements while applying software engineering best practices
• Familiarity with REST APIs, distributed systems, and networking concepts
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
