You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and work with product and engineering to translate customer challenges into impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in software engineering with product engineering background.
• Proven track record delivering complex production systems and major features.
• Strong fundamentals in backend development, APIs, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable architectures with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and AI-assisted development.
• Experience mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote, distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of major product features.
• Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features translating business needs to tech solutions.
• Design, build, and improve backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Diagnose and resolve engineering challenges; monitor performance and reliability.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development and validate AI-generated code.
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers to align priorities with outcomes.
• Take ownership of production systems and platform health.
