Position: Senior Snowflake Engineer with Power BI

Location: Canada (remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Snowflake Engineer to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in data warehousing, data pipeline development, and analytics, along with experience using Power BI for reporting and visualization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable designing and implementing data solutions end-to-end and working across complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hands-on development using Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
2. Design and implement Data Loads/Unloads, Table Design, Permission models, Views, DDL, and DML Queries in Snowflake.
3. Build and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines using industry best practices.
4. Integrate data from multiple sources, including third-party platforms (e.g., JIRA, Freshservice, Power BI).
5. Perform complex data transformations and write advanced SQL queries.
6. Support business intelligence initiatives by collaborating on Power BI report development.
7. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all pipelines and analytics models.
8. Create comprehensive documentation for reports, data sources, logic, and transformations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms.
2. Strong command of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
3. Experience integrating Snowflake with external systems and BI tools.
4. Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Experience with tools such as Power BI and Jira is required.
