We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability / Gitops Engineer for our Information Systems (IS) team. This role is ideal for an automation-focused senior technologist passionate about Linux, eager to build a career with Canonical, and to drive success for those leveraging Ubuntu and open source products. If you have experience in IT operations automation, Infrastructure as Code, and a passion for technology, you'll thrive working with some of the best in the industry at Canonical.
The IS team supports and maintains all of Canonical's IT production services, serving over 60 million Ubuntu users. As a Senior SRE & Gitops engineer, you will lead operations automation, enhancing our private and public cloud infrastructure using open source tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Canonical's automation products. You will also provide feedback to developers on product operations at scale, contributing to bug reports, pull requests, and collaborative design efforts.
You will join a global team of SREs supporting services for Canonical, its customers, and the Ubuntu community.
