What is it like to be a senior Site Reliability Engineer at Northbridge Financial?

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer oversees the creation and implementation of Service Level Objectives (SLOs). The Senior SRE handles service reliability solutions and processes of increasing complexity, and is responsible for mentoring and leading less experienced SREs.

If you are great at:

• Interfacing with systems analysts, solution designers, data architects, and business stakeholders to understand the business-site reliability requirements.
• Designing, developing, testing, and documenting advanced site reliability solutions within a complex environment to align technical and business goals.
• Working with a team of analysts, engineers, management, and stakeholders to identify site reliability solutions, assessing their technical and business impact.
• Managing daily operations and functionality of site reliability solutions and applications.
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies.
• Assisting in staff training and development, providing technical expertise and advice regarding products, systems, and processes.
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of company operations and industry trends to enhance security processes.
• Collaborating in feature/service-oriented development teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

If you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of software development/architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps or System Administration.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with Terraform and Helm.
