Job summary

Centron Construction, a Calgary-based builder and developer with 40+ years of Alberta experience, seeks a Foreperson reporting to the Site Superintendent. You will supervise trades partners to uphold quality, schedule, and cost control on active projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and inspectors; developing sequencing and weekly deliverables; maintaining daily site reports, photos, and as-built drawings; and enforcing health, safety policies

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Carpentry certification is required.
• Experience as lead hand or foreperson beneficial.
• Knowledge of Alberta building codes and safety requirements.
• Basic computer skills (email and Word processing).

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor and own forces work to ensure quality, schedule, and cost control.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, Trade Contractors, Consultants, Inspectors, and Regulatory Agencies to plan and execute project plans and ensure quality.
• Develop schedules and construction sequencing in conjunction with Superintendent and Project Managers.
• Maintain detailed daily site reports, progress photographs, and site as-built drawings and records.
• Implement health, safety and environmental procedures on site to protect workers and the public.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, sub-trades, consultants and employees.
