Job summary

Symbiotic Digital is seeking an experienced Software Developer – CRM to translate technical system specifications into working CRM applications. The role involves developing programming specifications, writing and generating code, and maintaining applications with unit testing and issue resolution.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle to design, develop, test, implement, and support CRM solutions in an onsite environment in Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience with Siebel CRM testing is required.
• 5+ years of Siebel technical configuration, development, and integration.
• 3+ years of Siebel integration with Adobe AEM, J2EE, and related technologies.
• Experience with Siebel IP18 or later versions.
• Knowledge of Siebel Tools and Siebel Web Templates.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer – CRM to translate technical system specifications into working, tested CRM applications. This role involves developing programming specifications, writing and generating code, maintaining applications, conducting unit testing, and troubleshooting technical issues related to software applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, develop, test, implement, and support CRM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested CRM applications.
• Develop detailed programming specifications.
• Maintain and enhance CRM applications.
• Conduct unit testing and support quality assurance processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during software operation.
• Collaborate with IT professionals throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
• Develop solutions utilizing object-oriented and third-generation development tools.
• Work with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
• Utilize information retrieval tools and query languages.
• Participate in application deployment and troubleshooting activities.
• Elicit and document requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Conduct design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
• Support post-implementation activities and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare user and system documentation as required.

Required Qualifications

CRM Development Skills

• Oracle Siebel CRM testing experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience with Siebel technical configuration, development, and integration.
• 3+ years of development and testing experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM, J2EE, and related technologies.
• Experience with Siebel IP18 or later versions, including configuration, development, and testing.
• Experience using Siebel Tools and editing Siebel Web Templates.
• Experience working with Siebel Open UI classes and methods.
• Knowledge of CRM software development methodologies, standards, and tools.
• Experience with middleware and gateway technologies.

Report Development Skills

• Experience developing and testing reports using OBIEE and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Open UI concepts including PM, PR, Manifest Files, and Mapping Files.

General Technical Skills

• Experience in application design, development, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with structured development methodologies.
• Experience working with databases and query languages.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, modifying, testing, and debugging installation scripts.
• Knowledge of Information Management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards and regulations.

Work Arrangement

• Onsite role.
• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding lunch).
