Job summary

Rockwell Automation is hiring for a sheet metal operator on a 2nd shift in Cambridge, Ontario. The role requires mechanical and CNC skills, blueprint interpretation, and experience with SAP/FactoryTalk systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical skills are required.
• Blueprint reading and use of CSPs/DWIs are required.
• CNC experience and tooling knowledge are essential.
• Proficiency with SAP and FactoryTalk is expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment (Prima Power, brake presses, CNC shears, punch presses, copper benders, deburring).
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to manufacture, form, finish, and inspect components to quality standards.
• Maintain material flow using cranes, hoists, lift trucks and automated handling systems; manage raw materials and scrap.
• Perform quality inspections and troubleshoot production issues; document activities and report through SAP and FactoryTalk.
• Support continuous improvement, safety and team development via LEAN/Six Sigma activities and training.
