Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a Machine Operator 2P for first shift. This full-time onsite role reports to the production supervisor and involves operating diverse manufacturing equipment in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include set-up, powder coat finishing, quality inspections, SAP/FTPC data logging, and material handling. A competitive package with health benefits and retirement plans is offered.

Qualifications

• Level 2: 1 year related experience and High School Education/GED.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Adherence to Safety, Attendance and Code of Conduct policies; Rockwell Automation standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment (brake presses, CNC, shears, punches, saws, bending equipment, paint systems).
• Perform powder coat painting and finishing processes (spray, oven setup, prep, grinding, buffing, finish).
• Troubleshoot production equipment, wash lines, paint systems and related machinery.
• Conduct quality inspections, testing, data logging in SAP/FTPC, maintenance of production logs.
• Support material handling: unload deliveries, move parts, maintain chemicals/materials.
• Follow safety, quality, environmental, operational procedures; participate in 5S, LEAN, continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team across production areas; provide training and maintain positive environment.
