Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a skilled energy efficiency coach to guide industrial teams in identifying opportunities and implementing improvements. You’ll mentor SEM Coaches, develop workshop content, and deliver onsite energy audits and trainings across Canada, with travel to participant sites.

The role requires 8+ years in industrial settings, an engineering background, and strong communication and facilitation abilities. A travel-ready candidate based in Vancouver/L bulk BC region is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in industrial/commercial environments.
• Engineering background or related technical/science field.
• Experience in energy efficiency improvement is an asset.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Ability to perform technical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate plant and facility management and teams, with participant-facing work as the primary focus.
• Facilitate training workshops, onsite energy audits, and one-on-one sessions.
• Conduct site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities.
• Analyze industrial process performance using monitoring equipment and statistics.
• Guide the development of continuous improvement plans and site improvement plans.
• Write clear reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Train and mentor new SEM Coaches in areas of expertise.
• Develop new workshop content and program materials.

You’ll spend most of your time coaching experienced program participants through workshops and one-on-one support, helping them apply continuous improvement to energy management. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires travel to participant sites.The successful candidate will be located in the Vancouver area or Lower Mainland BC.What you’ll be doing:Coach and motivate plant and facility management and teams, with participant-facing work as the primary focus of the role.Facilitate training workshops, onsite energy audits, and other one-on-one sessions.Conduct site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities.Analyze industrial process performance using monitoring equipment and statistical analysis.Guide the development of continuous improvement plans and site improvement plans.Write clear reports for technical and non-technical audiences.Train and mentor new SEM Coaches in areas of expertise.Help develop new workshop content and program materials.Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, panels, and forums.What you bring:8+ years of hands-on experience in industrial and/or commercial environments, with a strong understanding of how sites operate.Engineering background, or a related technical or science field.Experience in a role related to energy efficiency improvement is an asset.Working knowledge of industrial systems such as motors, compressed air, lighting, refrigeration, and boilers, along with some HVAC.Ability to perform technical calculations.Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.Experience working with participants or stakeholders in technical environments.Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including data analysis and presentation development.CEM, P.Eng., Lean Six Sigma, or a similar designation is an asset.Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to participant sites.Targeted Compensation:$41-$46/h (equivalent to approximately $85,280-$95,680 annually based on a 40-hour work week)Canadian Commercial Driving RequirementsIf applicable, meet all qualification, licensing, medical, and compliance requirements for commercial drivers under applicable provincial and territorial laws, the Canadian National Safety Code (NSC), and any federal regulations for extra‑provincial operations, including hours‑of‑service and safety fitness requirements.Compensation Range$40.50 - $70.10CurrencyCADTypeHourlyAny offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.CLEAResult will not provide sponsorship or support for immigration status or work authorization including for international students.
