BDO Canada is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to join the Information Security team, supporting monitoring, detection, investigation, and response to cybersecurity threats across the organization. The role focuses on improving security capabilities and protecting data, systems, and assets, with collaboration across technology teams.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to playbooks and procedures, and participate in on-call incident response to ensure business continuity and regulatory

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience focusing on security operations, incident response, threat detection or cyber defense.
• Experience with enterprise security technologies for monitoring, detection, investigation, and response.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity events, alerts, and incidents across enterprise environments.
• Perform detailed analysis of security incidents, containment, remediation coordination, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Administer and optimize security technologies supporting monitoring, detection, prevention, and response.
