Akamai is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to join our Professional Services team. You will be the security contact, providing end-to-end support and consulting to influence customers' Internet strategies, and you will work with an integrated account team to deliver success.

The role requires coordinating across groups, identifying improvement opportunities, and communicating with customers and partners to share deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry.
• Understanding of working with network technologies, web security or media related technologies, methodologies and/or architectures.
• Ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with customers in difficult environments.
• Experience delivering technical projects with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment.

You’ll be the security contact, ensuring the integration and support of customers. Acting as a trusted consultant, you’ll learn and implement creative solutions helping customers leverage Akamai's products.

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from 109,900 - 197,700 CAD/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
