Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to provide end-to-end support across multiple product suites and act as a trusted consultant for customers. You will lead the integrated account team and ensure successful delivery of security solutions across Akamai's products.

You will engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to optimize integration, drive quality service, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
• Customer-facing experience in the information technology industry is required.
• Understanding of network technologies, web security or media-related technologies and architectures.

Partner with the best

You'll be the security contact, ensuring the integration and support of customers. Acting as a trusted consultant, you'll learn and implement creative solutions helping customers leverage Akamai's products.

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Being the central point of contact for customers and leading the integrated account team delivering customer success


• Partnering with the business to review and ensure integration efficiency, high quality service and keep customers engaged


• Identifying service enhancements and potential problems to ensure continuous improvements to quality of customer service delivery


• Communicating with internal, external customers and partners to share information and deliverables

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field


• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry


• Show understanding of working with network technologies, web security or media related technologies, methodologies and/or architectures


• Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with customers in difficult environments


• Demonstrate experience in delivering technical projects with an ability to manage multiple priorities


• Be a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from 109,900 - 197,700 CAD/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
