Job summary

TELUS Cyber Security is hiring a Senior Consultant for its Security Professional Services team. The role supports client penetration-testing and security-assessment engagements in a mobile/remote work setting.

You will perform infrastructure and web application security assessments, using automated and manual testing, and leverage tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, SQLMap and OWASP ZAP. Effective reporting and clear client briefings are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in penetration testing, development, and/or technical support in cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with web app security, infrastructure testing, vulnerability assessment, and offensive security tools (Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, SQLMap, OWASP ZAP).
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows, scripting languages, and modern penetration-testing methodologies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to produce reports.
• Advanced English is required for role interactions and national scope.
