Job summary

Bell Canada is seeking a Senior Security Architect to design and implement comprehensive information security architectures for enterprise environments. You will lead project teams, engage with clients and Bell teams, and drive security initiatives from concept to deployment.

The role blends business acumen with deep technical expertise, offering opportunities to shape security roadmaps and mentor engineers within a hybrid work model in Canada.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role.
• Expertise in context-aware firewalls, cloud solutions, authentication, encryption, event correlation, and network IAM.
• Strong knowledge of TOGAF and PCI-DSS.
• Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto (Prisma Access, SD-WAN, Cloud).
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Exceptional critical thinking and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• High integrity, leadership, professionalism, and autonomous work with security integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and champion information security architecture roadmaps aligned with standards and client objectives.
• Architect, design, and oversee end-to-end security solutions across network, cloud, endpoint, and data protection domains.
• Partner with sales and account teams as a technical authority; draft technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
• Define technical requirements for securing technologies, applications, and networks; mentor engineers and architects.
• Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with corporate security and regulatory policies (e.g. PCI-DSS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and customers to integrate security into the technology landscape; communicate initiatives.
• Serve as SME during critical security incidents, guiding remediation and strategic improvements.
