Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its Quality Engineering team. The role focuses on automating web, mobile, API, and data-driven testing across enterprise platforms.

You will design scalable automation frameworks, validate Databricks pipelines, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker and Kubernetes. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of web, API, mobile, and backend testing methodologies.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale automation frameworks.
• REST API testing and data warehouse validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, Appium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Develop automated API validation solutions for REST services and backend integrations.
• Design reusable automation components using Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing.
• Perform mobile automation testing across Android and iOS using Appium with emulators and real devices.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with engineers to review requirements, architecture, and user stories and identify quality risks early.
