Job summary

CIHI is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Test Automation (SDET) to lead QA activities across product releases. You will design complex test scripts, coordinate testing, and advance CI/CD, API, and UI automation.

The role emphasizes test automation expertise and data quality in health information systems. The candidate will develop Playwright/Selenium based frameworks, support performance testing, and ensure accessibility and data warehousing testing across cloud-based data

Qualifications

3–5 years in a technical QA/QE role within software development cycles.
Experience with front-end automation frameworks, API testing tools and CI/CD integrations.
Hands-on with test automation tools/frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, TestNG) and performance testing.
Knowledge of SQL, BI tools and cloud data/warehousing concepts.
Experience with accessibility testing (AODA) and responsive design testing.

Responsibilities

Represent QA on project teams and coordinate testing activities.
Design and execute test plans, cases and data; log defects and sign off quality.
Lead automation initiatives and maintain automated test suites.
Investigate bugs and propose solutions; support SDLC/QA best practices.
Develop reusable automation frameworks for API, UI and performance testing.
Collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality releases.
