The Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS solutions on SAP BTP. This high-impact role combines strong hands-on functional and technical expertise with collaboration across product, development, and business teams.

You’ll architect cloud-native applications built for reuse, SAP Store certification, and multi-tenant deployments. With a focus on SAP best practices, you’ll drive clean core design, ensure integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, and support pre-sales efforts through demos and technical workshops.

You’ll also ensure enterprise readiness by addressing scalability, security, observability, data privacy (e.g., GDPR), and operational excellence—delivering solutions that are robust and scalable for global customers.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise solutions using SAP BTP services (e.g., SAP Build Code, Integration Suite, HANA Cloud, Process Automation, SAP GenAI).
• Translate requirements into solution blueprints and architecture artifacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with user needs, goals, and SAP best practices.
• Build solutions with reusability and productization in mind for rapid deployment.
• Ensure architectural compliance with SAP Store certification guidelines.
• Lead workshops, architecture reviews, and technical design sessions with clients and partners.
• Guide integration scenarios, API-first design, event-driven architecture, data modeling, and SAP S/4HANA extensibility.
• Design for operational excellence, including observability, GDPR compliance, multi-tenancy, and performance SLAs.
• Mentor developers to adhere to architectural standards.
• Stay current with SAP BTP innovations and evaluate their relevance.
• Contribute to architecture governance and knowledge sharing.
• Act as a solution evangelist in pre-sales, demos, and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, with relevant SAP certifications.
• 10+ years in enterprise software architecture, including 5+ years in SAP environments.
• Strong functional SAP experience in areas like Record to Report (FI, CO, AA, AM, SAP Concur) and Source to Pay (MM, WM, IM, Ariba).
• Good understanding of SAP BTP components such as SAP Build Apps/Code, Integration Suite, HANA Cloud, Process Automation, SAP GenAI, and SAP Identity and Authorization Management.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, cloud-native application design, and SAP extensibility frameworks.
• Experience leading end-to-end product development and SaaS commercialization.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and reusable product design.
• Familiarity with SAP Store certification and cloud deployment governance.
• Proven leadership in solution design across project lifecycles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture framework experience is a plus.
• Passion for building scalable, impactful enterprise solutions.
