Domtar in Montreal, QC is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst for a full-time permanent role. You will partner with Finance, business users, developers and support teams to optimize SAP FI/CO processes and deliver reliable improvements.

This position reports to the Manager, SAP Finance within our Corporate Applications group. You will analyze needs, configure solutions, lead workshops, manage testing, and support end-to-end project delivery including upgrades and hypercare.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in configuring SAP FI/CO solutions for finance processes.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate to functional specs.
• Strong communication with business users and IT teams.
• Experience leading workshops and testing in SAP projects.
• Proficiency in both French and English in a corporate setting.

The location in Montreal , ( Quebec , Canada ), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst. This job is full-time permanent.

Reporting to the Manager, SAP Finance, the Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst will be a key member of Domtar’s Corporate Applications team, helping support and enhance the SAP finance and controlling solutions that enable critical business processes across the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with Finance, business users, developers, architects and production support teams to understand needs, solve problems, configure effective solutions and deliver reliable SAP FI/CO improvements. This is an opportunity to bring your SAP FI/CO expertise, analytical mindset and collaborative approach to a role where your work will have a direct impact on operational efficiency and business success.

Your challenges:

• Analyze business needs and configure SAP FI/CO solutions where applicable;
• Support, maintain and enhance existing SAP FI/CO solutions;
• Collaborate with business units, production support teams and developers on requirements gathering, solution design and production support specifications;
• Create test scenarios and execute appropriate test cases to validate solution integrity before business user acceptance testing;
• Contribute to SAP project delivery by leading workshops and requirements-gathering sessions, participating in full lifecycle implementations and upgrades, managing testing activities, and supporting cutover, go-live and hypercare activities;
• Facilitate and/or participate in functional and technical solution reviews with management, developers, architects and SAP Basis representatives;
• Communicate recommended solutions to management and coordinate implementation into the production environment;
• Collaborate closely with SAP MM, SAP PM, SAP SD, SAP PP, and Data & Analytics teams;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation.
