Job summary

Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. is seeking a Business Technology Partner to lead SAP ecosystem delivery, manage internal and outsourced teams, and ensure compliant, high‑quality outcomes across SDLC. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate priorities into technology roadmaps and align with enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes governance, incident coordination, and continuous improvement of SAP and related applications in a regulated energy environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent in a related field.
Experience leading vendor teams and outsourced development/support services.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage concurrent initiatives in a regulated environment.
Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full SDLC for SAP and related solutions, from planning to deployment.
Lead internal and outsourced teams to deliver high‑quality application changes.
Manage regulatory, security, and performance standards across applications.
Coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders and QA.
Partner with IT Ops and Enterprise Architecture to monitor incidents and risks.
Drive continuous improvement of SAP and related platform delivery.
